Understanding the Technical Specifications

Website / Domain

Each cPanel always comes with 1 main account connected to the main domain. However, some Shared Hosting Plans allow for additional Websites/Domains by adding these using Addon Domains within cPanel. Eg. Plan M shows 5 Websites/Domains, which means that there is 1 Main Domain connected to the cPanel, but 4 additional Domains can be added through the cPanel Hosting Panel.

Storage

All Storage for Shared Hosting is NVMe M.2 Storage, which is the fastest available storage available. This benefits the loading and processing of websites by a lot compared to normal SSD Storage. Normally a small WordPress website can easily be installed on the XS plan with 1GB of Storage. Larger Wordpress sites that exist of many images, mostlikely require more storage. All users can easily upgrade their Storage by switching plans (obviously only pay the difference in pricing).

Traffic

The Traffic mentioned starts at 1TB for the 2 smallest plans which is more than enough for 90% of all websites on the Internet. However, if you do require more traffic, our larger plans offer 2TB and some plans even Unlimited Traffic.

Free SSL

DeeDeeHost uses SSL built-in by the cPanel Hosting Software, which is called Let's Encrypt SSL. This SSL certificate is free, and we don't charge anything extra for this. SSL is completely free. Once setup correctly, it will automatically renew your SSL Certificate every 30-90 days automatically 1-14 days before the expiration date.

Unlimited Emails

All Hosting Plans that we offer from XS to XL, have access to create as many custom E-mail boxes as they want. This is great as most hosting providers only offer 1 or 2 mailboxes, which might be too little if you want 10 people to have their own email address. It's also possible to use forwarders. For example info@domain.com > user1@domain.com, user2@domain.com, but also to addresses like @gmail.com. Please note that all plans have their own outgoing Email limit, starting from 100 Email/Hour for the XS plan to 500 Emails/Hour. If you require more, we highly suggest to search for a dedicated Email provider.

Daily Backups

All users can create a backup by themselves at any time. However, we also create backups for you in case you forgot to backup your website yourself. We have daily, weekly and even monthly backups. Your backups are stored both in Raid config (basically a clone of your website on a different storage drive on the same server), as well as 1 more extra backup on different server located at a different datacenter in Thailand in case of complete server failure (eg. Fire in Datacenter destroying all servers).

Databases

All users will have at least the ability to create 2 databases up to unlimited. We provide PhpMyAdmin for easy management of your database though cPanel. Most websites only require 1 Database, having 2 Databases or even more is rare.

Inodes

Inodes are the number of files and folders you are able to have stored on your Hosting Account. For your reference, a basic install of WordPress uses ~4,000 inodes, after installing a theme usually around ~9,000 inodes. A 5 page WordPress website with 100 images, 5 pages, 5 plugins, a theme, database files and 500 emails (each email sent/received counts as 1 inode), you will be looking at around ~13,000 inodes. We believe starting the XS plan with a limit of 100,000 inodes is more than enough for most websites.

Dedicated Memory

Most Shared Hosting providers internationally offer between 1.5GB and 2GB of dedicated DDR5 memory per cPanel account. In Thailand, it's usually 1GB to 1.5GB. We believe that we are the only provider in Thailand starting with 1.5GB of dedicated memory for the smallest plan, making sure that even a plan as cheap like XS @ 249 Baht, is capable of running a complex and resource eating WordPress website with WooCommerce combined with Elementor or Divi. Anything under 1.5GB elsewhere makes a website very slow.

EP (Entry Processes)

EP stands for Entry Processes, and unlike most hosting providers, we actually like to share the amount of these Entry Processes per hosting account, as many providers cap these at low numbers between 10 and 25 processes. This basically means that if 1 website visitor loads a website, executing 20 processes (eg. website loading 1x HTML, 14 images, 3x CSS, 2x JS for 1 user entering a website), that visitor number 2 needs to wait until the first visitor is done loading. The more entry processes (EP) the faster and therefore better the experience for website visitors. Our lowest plan already provides 30 EP's.

NPROC

NPROC stands for Number of Processes. It limits how many processes (such as PHP scripts, cron jobs, or other commands) a single cPanel account can run at the same time. This helps prevent one account from consuming too many server resources and affecting other users on the same server. Higher plans have higher NPROC limits to support more demanding websites.

IOPS

IOPS stands for Input/Output Operations Per Second. It measures how many read and write operations the server’s storage can perform per second. This is especially important for websites with heavy database usage or many small files (such as WordPress + WooCommerce + page builders). Higher IOPS means the website responds faster, especially during traffic spikes.

I/O Speed

I/O Speed refers to the actual data transfer speed of the server’s storage, measured in MB/s. It indicates how much data can be read or written per second. Higher plans have faster I/O speeds, which helps websites load quicker — especially those with many images, videos, or large files.
